We collect the information needed to provide Tripilot, such as your login email and data related to your trips, budgets, bookings, expenses, and checklists. If you save a budget plan by email, we use that email and the simulation result to send you the requested plan.

2. How We Use It

We use your data to provide the service, save your trips, show your budgets, sync payments or subscriptions where relevant, and improve the planning experience. We never sell your personal data or use it for personalized advertising.

3. Analytics and Measurement

With your consent, we use Google Analytics and PostHog EU Cloud to understand how Tripilot is used. We may measure pages visited, simulator usage, signups, trip creation, expenses logged, device, browser, URL, referrer, and approximate country. If you log in, PostHog may associate events with your email to help us understand real product usage. We do not enable session recordings or capture the content of your text fields for analytics. PostHog EU Cloud hosts data in the European Union.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Tripilot may use cookies or similar technologies such as localStorage for necessary functions, for example keeping a pending simulation when opening login or remembering your analytics preference. Optional analytics only run if you accept them; you can reject them or change your choice from this page.

5. Data Security

We use modern security measures to protect your information. No system is completely invulnerable, so please use unique passwords.

6. Your Rights

You can request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, or objection to the processing of your data by contacting us from the contact page. You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time.

You can accept or reject optional Google Analytics and PostHog analytics. If you reject them, Tripilot will still work.
